One of Obama's early mentors in the (Saul) Alinsky method was Mike Kruglik, who had this to say to an interviewer of The New Republic, about Obama:

"He was a natural, the undisputed master of agitation, who could engage a room full of recruiting targets in a rapid-fire Socratic dialogue, nudging them to admit that they were not living up to their own standards. As with the panhandler, he could be aggressive and confrontational. With probing, sometimes personal questions, he would pinpoint the source of pain in their lives, tearing down their egos just enough before dangling a carrot of hope that they could make things better."

The agitator's job, according to Alinsky, is first to bring folks to the "realization" that they are indeed miserable, that their misery is the fault of unresponsive governments or greedy corporations, then help them to bond together to demand what they deserve, and to make such an almighty stink that the dastardly governments and corporations will see imminent "self-interest" in granting whatever it is that will cause the harassment to cease.

I am aware of that e=mail, but it has no bearing on the fact that Obama refuses to wear an American flag pin on his lapel SNOPES cannot refute the picture of his merely standing during the Pledge tio the Flag. There have been numerous articles written about both of his failures to perform. I stand by my post.

I believe Lone Haranguer was referring to Lincoln, strangepork. Lincoln was illegitimate. I don't know about Obama.

yankeegubd, you are correct. Obama refuses to wear the flag on his lapel and there is a pic of him not placing his hand over his heart while not saying the Pledge To The Flag. His staff lied, saying that the National Anthem was being played at the time but the others on stage had their hands over their hearts. Every American knows you don't place your hand over your heart during the playing or singing of the National Anthem. Obama is American by a technicality and is a member of a church whose loyalty is to mother Africa.

The Los Angeles Times reported recently that Barack Obama’s campaign seems to be modifying its earlier affirmation that “Senator Obama has never been a Muslim, was not raised a Muslim, and is a committed Christian who attends the United Church of Christ in Chicago.”

In a statement to the Times, the campaign offered slightly different wording, saying: “Obama has never been a practicing Muslim.” The statement added that as a child, Obama had spent time in the neighborhood’s Islamic center.

His former Roman Catholic and Muslim teachers, along with two people who were identified by Obama’s grade-school teacher as childhood friends, say Obama was registered by his family as a Muslim at both of the schools he attended.
