now wicked witch, it's time for you to come clean. try posting a fact or an honest comment or something...
Now visitor45, it's time to calm down. Have yourself a bowl of ice cream or something...
khan, those of us who visit this forum know full well that hermione has never posted anything factual. nor honest.
again, just look at the image posted by hermione. one smear after another.
i merely ask why hermione is not AS VILIFIED as frombeyond is??
i also ask, who is hermione? this is not a sincere person. this is not someone anyone can be proud of. why do we even give him the time of day? is he an alternate username? why are none of you asking??
(note to others: Herm is refering to a term I used in the other Powell thread)
General Powell tried to talk Bush out of invading Iraq for "2 and a half hours" but still came out in favor of the war publicly.
He doubted the fake evidence of "yellow-cake" uranium enrichment, but still allowed Cheney to talk him into "go out there and sell it" (a quote from Powell's aide Col. Larry Wilkerson).
Unfortunately, that is what I call being a mouthpiece for the White House.
Of course I was disappointed by it...Colin Powell's appointment as Sec. of State was a rare glimmer of hope in the Bush administration, but like everything else it turned into frustration. He allowed his credebility & good name to be used by lesser men. If it were possible, I would like to sit down and tell it to him face to face (sure, he was a 4-star General and I was an enlisted-man, but we're both civilians now!) but I'm sure he's more disgusted by it than anyone.
That does not degrade my respect for what he has done in his pre- & post administration life, nor does it diminish my happiness at seeing him endorse the man we both know is the right choice for the next president.
Yes Khan, and it needs to be asked over and over again. Men of honor to not "act as mouthpieces" for others anytime, anywhere.
Herminone, that's the same question you asked on the other Colin Powell thread, and that's where my answer is
http://election2008.lumra.com/~Colin_Powell_endorses_Barack_Obama._
As far as this picture goes...it looks like General Powell is having fun up there. After a long & distinguished career of service to the nation, he deserves it.
How come when Colin Powell promoted Bush's "lies," he was not someone to be believed or trusted, but now that he's endorsed Obama, he is someone to be . . . believed and trusted?
Ah, the Republican/NeoCon way: You have absolutely nothing to add to the discussion and you can't generate any nonsense with which to impugn someone of Powell's stature.
Be patient, your handlers will be concocting scandals in an attempt to destroy Powell's reputation forthwith. Scum that they are.

by the way, now i understand why you are the queen of the fly-by copy and paste! when you comment using your own thoughts, the best response in your book is something about "ice cream"
amusing that you wouldn't dispute my accusation that you are a fraud, a liar and a wicked witch.. ;)
well, happy halloween, i guess! XD
