JIM WOOTEN: Panic sets in for Obama, Democrats. "Barack Obama knows it. The election he had in the bag is slipping away." He could still win it, but the fact that he's acting panicky, with wild swings, isn't helping him. Plus, it suggests that he can't handle pressure, which has been a rap on him from the beginning.

Those molestation claims from Randi Rhodes aren't helping, either. Jeez. Plus this report: "Barack Obama and his senior advisers are under fire for ignoring the advice of Democratic senators and governors who are concerned that they do not know how to beat John McCain. . . . A senior Democratic strategist, who has played a prominent role in two presidential campaigns, told The Sunday Telegraph: 'These guys are on the verge of blowing the greatest gimme in the history of American politics. They're the most arrogant bunch Ive ever seen. They won't accept that they are losing and they won't listen.'" Yes, as I've suggested before, hubris coupled with poor execution is not a recipe for success. Nice to see that the Democratic leadership agrees with my analysis.

I'm just stating the obvious. I'm a vious person who is obbing you.
Disingenuous?
Actually, I'm an ingenuous person who you are dissing.
OK, I'll be serious - I thought the post was a funny idea.
Until now, I have made no comments here, I just let everyone form their own opinions.
just curious, rj, was this post of yours done in the "spirit of good and righteousness?" or is it a dirty trick you and your fellow republicans are playing? let's be serious for a moment...
folks, "pig on a lipstick" is a common phrase that mccain has used, cheney has used and now obama has used. do your own research please. it is not an offensive remark and shame on rj and the republicans for taking the term out of context for their own purposes.
can you republicans debate real issues? ever???
republifacist, that crowd has probably not heard the term before and is hungry for someone to call mccain and palin what they are - pigs. but that is not the reference the term describes. please do your research. please research mccain's use of the term and cheney's use before you post anymore foolish opinions about it.
i tell you there is a reason rj is so quiet on the topic - he knows the truth but is too much a stubborn fool to admit that his post is typical rove politics
This site is helpful, as well: http://factcheck.org/
This may depress you, but I also suggest you hear or listen to the Kennedy/Nixon debates from the 60's. You may get to appreciate what it is like for two intelligent men to discuss presidential issues like their audience isn't retarded.
Bringing up rove-style politics is very important. Look what it's done for our country thus far. Experience is definitely an issue, as well. There are a vast many other important issues besides how the republicans can make non-issues important.
That's the best response you get.
1) Comparing a pic on lumra to a national non-issue when I was talking about Obama's commitment to change vs. McCain's.
2) Making an infantile comparison.
3) Making a further infantile remark, at the expense of actually creating a sentence.
weak. Have you actually been to both candidates websites and seen their plans?
Yeah, Obama is suggesting some pretty broad changes. He's already proven he's willing to run a campaign on issues. Which is better than I can say for McCain.

Joe Biden has always been a good guy. We'd be fortunate to have him as a VP.
Wouldn't you think if the republicans had any real dirt on Biden and Obama, they'd be advertising it from space? They don't.
I swear the republicans are suffering the worst case of mass amnesia I've ever seen. It's like the last 8 years never happened and Rove-style non-issues still matter.
Is it safe to assume McCain has completely embraced Karl Rove tactics for this election? Is there any change McCain stands for?
Herm, I have very little authority. I was genuinely asking you to express yourself in original opinions and not in propaganda. There's plenty of that everywhere else.
2 regular posters on snaps are voting for mccain. who are you trying to fool with that ad, hermione? anybody can post ads. how silly of you.
tjp, please let hermione back into lumrax so he'll spend more time there, less here! ;)
Is there any chance you'll refrain from posting ridiculous campaign ads in open discussion, herm?
We already know she's a liar. I don't trust a republican was going to tell me that.
phony outrage. republicans will grasp for any triviality to avoid the real issues.
it figures you would only show your affinity for the cosmetics over substance when dealing with the next president, rj

Next non-issue. Why are most of McCain's campaign advisors lobbyists?
