The Temple of Obama

Reuters reports that "Barack Obama's big speech on Thursday night will be delivered from an elaborate columned stage resembling a miniature Greek temple."

Just think of the numbers McCain would have had if he had a fake Greek temple!
A BIGGER TV AUDIENCE FOR JOHN MCCAIN than for Barack Obama? "That means McCain's speech is now the most-watched in convention history -- 41% higher than President Bush's acceptance speech four years ago, and 1% higher than Obama's address last week."

Interesting that Hermione42 appears to have extensive, if not infinite supply of partisan arts and crafts to spread like a winter snow across these pages.
Could it be that he's nothing more than a paid shill for the RNC and the neocons?
Could he be just another media whore whose dedication extends to the cashing of checks from swift-boaters and muckrakers?
Funny how he never seems to run out of these bits of propaganda...
Regular people don;t have these resources, do they?
I wanted to put a working YouTube video as the posted picture instead of as a comment. I thought I had seen it done, but the pictures I found today were non working screen captures, like this one:

It was only a suggestion, RJ. I have similar problems finding stills to go with vids, too. You couldn't google image a pic of moore?
btw, I don't think the pending system applies to the political sites. Just post and wait a few minutes to a few hours.
Dookie - I actually wanted to post the YouTube player screens for this and the similar Don Fowler video as the top photos on their own threads. It was late and I couldn't figure out how to do it, so I placed them as comments on threads where they would be seen.
Also, I considered that if I posted these as new threads, they may not make it through the "pending" process.
If I figure out how it's done, I will post them as threads. If approved, I will delete these which were posted as comments.
It's certainly not the first time threads have gone off topic, is it?
You made no claims. You didn't answer my question. You tapdanced around the obvious racist use of collard greens in the pic. By failing to concede the obvious, you discredit yourself. I called you an idiot for that. You're too stupid to even pick up on that, resorting to a baseless generalization, only further proving my claim.
Michael Moore laughs about Hurricane Gustav hitting New Orleans during the Republican Convention.
"I was just thinking, this Gustav is proof that there is a God in heaven,” Moore said, laughing. “To have it planned at the same time – that it would actually be on its way to New Orleans for day one of the Republican Convention, up in the Twin Cities – at the top of the Mississippi River.”
No, I don't actually, I like greens, I doubt Obama does,I hear he prefers egg white omelets. I recognize the racist implications, could also be holding fried chicken or watermelon, both of which I like, he probably doesn't. I also don't like the symbolism of a Greek temple for the "oracle" to make his pronouncements from, or his changing the Presidential seal which was possibly illegal.
So, you think it's ok that Obama is holding collard greens in this pic?
Race is an issue, the dems keep there. You think a first term Senator with 143 days experience would be ordained by the DNC, tossing Hillary aside, if he didn't have "special" qualifications?
Race isn't an issue, dookie. If they keep saying it most people in America will believe them.
Winning friends and influencing rednecks since 1865.
The collard greens are a nice touch. A touch of racism to go with your propaganda?

Fake Greek temples are soooo last week. A faux-Alamo would have been better.
